I would create some threads before you pay for advertising. Put like 10-15 in each forum.

I'm slowly in the process of doing that.

I have a free hosting websitewhich you might be interested in. It is PR2 and has 10k active clients. It tops google search for "free unlimited hosting" . It just cost $5 for link in homepage and $20 for banner.
