These changes seam not to make much sense. Storing results of trival queries and things MyBB already caches shouldn't speed up much and moreover there is no code to update of flush the cache which can cause serious problems.

StefanT i don't know more about php, the only thing i know is that every 24hrs the cache replaced with a fresh one. But right know this trick helped me a lot, it reduced my forum's load. Before this, every 2 days my hosting company (hostgator) placed a restricted access to my forum due to overloading. After this however, everything is ok.
