It worked along the same lines as the search highlighter Coder, except for highlighting search results it highlighted links or URLS in posts so people didn't have to look for the links in a post. I knew UBB had something like this and I thought at one time here someone had created this for MyBB, I looked in the older MyBB plug-ins which is where I swore it was and couldn't find it however so maybe I'm wrong.
I thought how the link highlighter worked was it just changed the color of the text, not put an actual highlight over it however.

Maybe this one done thru CSS. I will take a look in my custom theme to see if I can do this there.
