Hi there

I installed myBB a month ago, a completely new install of version 1.6.10. It has been working fine the entire time.

Yesterday, after making several posts I was not able access the threads - it gives a "The page could not be found" error for the forums and the threads, even though access to the portal and login is fine, as is admin CP.
I cleared cache and cookie data in case, but no help, and then noticed that it could not be accessed from another computer.
I contacted my hosting provider who say it is a code error, which they don't support.
I have searched the forum here and cannot find anyone who has had the same issue.

I have not added any plugins or made any adjustments, as I am still just wanting to get the basics right.

Would be extremely grateful for any assistance!

So are you not able to access the website or just threads/posts?
Can you access your admin control panel?

Can you access your admin control panel?

I can access the website, the admin CP, and the portal. But clicking on the forums gives a "The page could not be found" error.

Well firstly you need to upload the English language folder. If it's already uploaded then check the permissions.

Check the following:

./inc/languages/english/*all files* >> 666
./inc/languages/english/admin/*all files* >> 666
