When you browse this forum you can't go to page 200 for eg.

The only way you can do so is to copy the URL for page 2:

Quote:http://community.mybboard.net/forumdispl...=9999&page=2

and change the bolded to:

Quote:http://community.mybboard.net/forumdispl...=9999&page=200

This is probably a problem with topics with very many pages, yes?

Perhaps you should add a javascript little link with a prompt asking you what page you want to go to, and it will take you there. Or maybe make a small text box appear where you type the page number, and it takes you there when you click a button "Go".

PS: My apologies if there is already a MOD for this, but this should still be a default option in the ACP.

I'm not understanding you, what does the fid have to do with pages? The javascript prompt telling me about a new PM annoys me to death, not something I want popping up everytime I visit a forum.

Are you talking about the showthread or forumdisplay? You kind of jump from forumdisplay fid thing to topics an pages. >.>

I think Test meant that you would have to change the "page=5" to "page=200" at the end of the string for that fid. As it stands it does only give you the option to choose up to maybe 5 pages, and after that, you have to keep hitting next. A lot of pages would be a pain, so the suggestion could be useful, if you knew which page you needed to go to.

I believe test said it wrong as well, and I agree with the suggestion... When you click on "Pages" a little inline dropdown should come up or a javascript alert... would be useful
