Is there anyway to change the mod cp directory, kinda of like how to change the admin directory.

There isn't a Mod CP directory. modcp.php is a file.

I wouldn't advise trying to. It would require many core edits and we wouldn't be able to support the changes you made. If you don't know what would need to be changed it's unlikely you'd be able to make the appropriate changes when there's a new release.

If you are worried about protecting that file, you can always create htpasswd and htaccess to protect it.
