Full Version: Put all 7 forum under 1 database?

Can I do that and will it work? I just have to change the database in the config.php? Just wondering? It's for my network site I'm developing.
I don't think it would work, I do have a plugin from here that allowed a multi-forum database.

It was beta and untested though...
Couldn't you just change the database prefix to seven different prefixes?

So it's possible. The only question is how?
And why would you need to do this?

Because it's for my network site and it would help others so much. Just trying to figure out how if you can help?
As long as you use different prefixes, you should be able to use the same database just fine.

Personally I would use different databases for the reason of access control.
