Hello

I am using Google SEO plugin and it works good. But recently I ran into this issue.

I had a forum with name called "topic A" - so the url was like so
myforum.com/forum-topic-A

Now I changed name of that forum to "topic B" - the url became
myforum.com/forum-topic-B

Now the problem is both of these are alive
myforum.com/forum-topic-A
myforum.com/forum-topic-B

I want only the newer url(topic-B) to be alive and the older(topic-A) to not exist or be redirected to the new.
Does this become more complicated as I have google seo plugin installed ? Please advice.

Many Thanks
Vij
Google SEO does this by default (if Google SEO Redirect is enabled).
If you want to redirect all links from topic-A to topic-B, then write a redirect rule in your .htaccess
you can remove the old url from Google search results by using url removal tool at the Google Webmasters site
Or you can simply activate google seo redirect
