I wanna import all my old forums categories and subforums etc
How do I import it into my forum

Then what do you do if that old site of yours is dead. And the domain is gone

If you no longer have the database for your old forum, then unfortunately you will have to start from scratch.

Edit: delayed response
if your MyBB forum already consists of posts & users then use the Merge system (see guidance)
if it is a fresh forum without users & posts then you can try using the backup of database

Are you using the merger or starting afresh (.m.'s second option)?
