So I cant seem to figure out where aclearnewsbar puts the bar in the templates. I installed it and it didnt show up on my new theme but old themes it has been added.

Also I dont know what its called in the templates?

is it {$news} or {$newsbar}

also are there any other plugins that do this? I want a news bar that scrolls like that with latest threads and posts

Have you tried Board Messages? (http://mods.mybb.com/view/board-messages) It seems to be a pretty popular plugin that works without any issues.

download is invalid. I want the clear news bar because it outputs the latest posts and threads pulling it all from the portal

^ the referred plugin doesn't modify templates, it adds required content while showing the page.
check if header template has <navigation> and nav template has <div class="navigation">

I added <div class="navigation"> in the down of header and its wowrking, but the newst starting from the older threads, any ideas?
