Hi all!

I have the 'Advanced Sidebox' installed.

However, it only updates it's information when someone is logged in!

For example, I have a 'latest on the Forum' box, which is only showing a post from months ago. However, when logging into the forum, it updates and shows the latest posts.

It's the same for all boxes I have created, including a Twitter one.

I need it to show the latest to guests too!

Are you referring to the AJAX update? Or just the latest threads module in general?

In either case I certainly have never experienced a problem like that at all.

Just visit the link in my post : VWcamperForum.co.uk , see the box and see what the latest post it states. Probably a May date.

That is because you are not allowing guests to see posts and threads in most of the forum.

The latest threads module checks user permissions before showing any threads so you will need to go to ACP -> Forums & Posts and allow guests to see forums if you want them to show up in the side box.

Edit: delayed response - can be ignored
that appears to be due to the restrictions you had put for the guests.
you are not allowing guests to view any content in the forum !
