All,

Request instructions. Is it possible to post directly (especially YouTube)from a Tumblr account http://batrsartre.tumblr.com/http://batr...umblr.com/ to BATR Forum http://forum.batr.net/http://forum.batr.net/

Would like to create a separate topic section to import content from Tumblr.

Is there a method to accomplish this objective? Using the current version of MyBB.

I added a feedburner http://feeds.feedburner.com/tumblr/sKWq
example to illustrate the type of video transfer I would like to post on MyBB.

Thanks,

James Hall
If you have a valid RSS feed for your Tumblr you can use RSS Feed Poster plugin to pull that feed and then post to the forum
paveman and HTML

Why did I use Microsoft? I was able to download the zip (using Chrome) and when clicking on the plugin file I am taken to cannot open because the Microsoft Digital Image Pro 7.0 is the program that attempts to open the zip.

Sorry for such a dumb question: How can I change this default program to one that will work for opening the zip?

After all these years I may be force to take a drink . . .

THANKS!

OK I'm not a dumb as I feel. Changed to open with a different program. Used 7-Zip and zip-4. Both opened the file. Still do not see the plugin appearing in the MyBB screen: (under plugin) first tab when the page loads.

All,

I when to a different machine Windows 7 and was successfully extracted and used File viewer to copy the code in a php form. Help instructions state (below):
Where and how can I locate the root of your MyBB installation???

In order to install a plugin for MyBB there are 2 two general things you should do. Upload the plugin, then activate it from the administrator backend. Please note that different plugins may need you to make additional modifications. This will be included in the plugin documentation provided by the author.

Here are step-by-step instructions how to install a new plugin for MyBB:

Step 1 Upload the plugin file (the file format will be something like: pluginname.php) to inc/plugins/ folder located under the root of your MyBB installation. Note that it is imperative not to change the file name.

Step 2 Log in to your Admin CP and click on "Plugin Manager" in the Settings category of the menu.

Step 3 Click "Activate"for the plugin you have uploaded.

Step 4 In case everything is in order, you will be redirected to the plugin manager and the button for the plugin will change to "Deactivate. You can use it to stop the plugin from working on your MyBB installation.

THANKS
