Full Version: existing link redirects?

hi i converted my forum from vbulletin 4 to mybb with over 15000 posts but now all my links indexed in google no longer work, fix do i fix this ?
It looks fine to me. Can you provide an example link?

Well all those links will be updated some day. You don't need to worry.

I guess you can write http redirects in your .htacess file to redirect those urls to present mybb urls with Goolge SEO plugin installed.

Eg:
Suppose if you take this thread from vbulletin:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum/vbulletin-sales-and-feedback/vbulletin-pre-sales-questions/3987456-transferring-a-license

what you have to do is you have to redirect it to following url:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/Thread-transferring-a-license

I am not sure, whether its possible or not. Give a try tweaking more on this!!! Smile

Or else, submit your sitemap generated by Google SEO plugin through webmaster tools and it will re-index all links.
