MyBB Community Forums - Default avatar not showing for new members?

I have tried everything I could think of, but nothing has worked so far. The default avatar is not being displayed for new members, and it looks messy without the avatar. I have tried plugins, one worked.. but you had to do it manually.

What are you using to display avatars for those who don't have an avatar already?

I thought the forums system did it automatically? I have a default avatar in my images folder.

Unfortunately at the moment the MyBB software does not set default avatars for your members. There are some mods that you can try to force default avatars.

effone is hosting my forum and I do not have access to a cpanel.

I would recommend contacting effone about this then.
