I have downloaded the plugin mytabs and made some tabs but i dont like the color i want to put a carbon fiber background so they look nice how can i do that any ideas thanks in advance

Thats very to add css in that plugin why dont you use other tab plugin or tutorial

MyTabs plugin has provision for adding the style to the tabs.
give your forum url and required background image link / color code so that someone can check it
