can you get your forum database from ProBoards - it is a complex task and a developer might charge a high price

how would i go about getting my forum database? Can't afford to pay someone for that Sad

^ there is no possibility of getting database from ProBoards
Edit: however, exporting forum data (eg. posts) appears to be possible (ref.)
