ok so i just finished the install and every time i try to log in it brings me back to the log in screen. Did i miss something in the install
ok i have tried all of that many times still not working. it there a way i can get the old mybb back from like 1.6.9 i had it before and it worked?
No, it's highly not recommended. You're risking forum security for something which an easily be fixed. What's your forum URL?
You've set your cookie path to /ball/, but it should be set to /.
but if there are 2 sites like if i had on on 79 and one on 81 dont you have to specify the difference.
You shouldn't need put each site on a custom port. See the other thread you created. If you truly must use custom ports, you need to set a custom cookie prefix for each install.
