In the thread pages I want the last entered thread to appear at the top of the list, followed by the threads by latest date. How is this accomplished?
You don't have to do anything. The mybb default is for the latest threads to show up first and the older last.
You mean no post bumping am I right?
Latest thread at top , then in descending order.

@raymel65, you can change it in the selects which are cut at the bottom of your screen. Change them to: Last Post, Descending, The Beginning and click Go.
To change it for everyone (except those who changed it manually) as default: ACP -> Forums & Posts -> choose forum(s) where your problem exists -> Edit Forum Settings -> Default View Options -> choose the values mentioned above.
