I have set two fields that I want to be required on registration and have selected "Required" as below.

Required? *
Is this field required to be filled in during registration or profile editing? Note that this does not apply if the field is hidden.

But in the registration area it don't show as Required "*"

What else do I need to do to make these required?

Try filling one without an answer it will then say "You must select or enter a value for this field"

Yes I didn't try it without filling the extra info that we wanted and YES it did come up in RED that they must be filled in.
