Hi all,
My site, although using wordpress is still very forum centric, meaning users tend to spend most of their time there rather than the front page.
I have recently thought about adding buddypress to my wordpress site, but given most users use the forums more, it may be better to write a social groups plugin for mybb.
Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.
By and large it would have the following
- Member with defiend level/group can create new social group
- Group can be private, public etc
- Groups will have Activity stream, connections
and whatever else is involved.
I can't see anything like this already and I am wondering whether it is worth re-inventing the wheel particularly with 2.0 meaning much of the work will need to be redone.
But overall just wondering if this would be of use to anyone or if there is already something like this for mybb?
