In the admin control panel... under the template...
1. If I want to edit the template for the forum home page, it is "index" in the template?
I am talking about this page. http://community.mybb.com/


2. For the following page, is it called "threadlist" in template?

3. What is the following page called in the template?
http://community.mybb.com/thread-139749.html


Sorry, I am still a newbie trying to learn.
Sometimes I am confused with which template is which under the template in the admin control panel.

Yes you are right for 1 & 2. For 3, you would be looking for the "Showthread" templates

If I want the sidebar widgets which now only appear on 1 & 2 to also appear on 3, where should I add the codes to? I have tried a few places and it seemed always mess the pages up.

I'm not familiar with the sidebar widgets, but if you post a link to your forum (which has the sidebar on 1 & 2) I will be able to tell you where to place the code for 3.
