I would like to make everyone in my forum that doesn't have an avatar to automatically have an avatar assigned to them but still allow them to change it.

but it said for ALL USERS and I don't want that. I just want it to change those who doesn't have one, not the one who already have an avatar. I'm afraid that if I insert this code into PHPMyAdmin, it will change the member's avatar that was already uploaded to the default one.

Can anyone help me with this, I had this before but I can't find my thread for it.

We use this plugin and it works for us, easy to set up and you can upload a default avatar of your choice, just name it and set the name and path as shown in the screenshot into the plugin settings in Admin CP.

What you will get is any member who does not have an avatar will show the default one until they change it.
