I can't seem to find out how to make users able to post in category, I have the option to post enabled in the "category's" permission. I am trying to make users able to post a new thread in my section "chit chat". It also has subforums which allow posts in them.

Have you checked if the board is locked?

Yes, the category is open and active. I apologize I used the word section instead of category, correcting right now.

guests cannot view any section on your forum. if you need help then you have to give test user account (as it is a posting issue)
