Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 2 by reference in /home/xxxx/public_html/inc/functions.php on line 2963

I installed this plugin :- http://mods.mybb.com/view/nickname-styles

After that I keep getting that error everywhere. Admin CP modCp Main forum.

How do I prevent this?

have you edited functions.php file ? can you post lines 2958 - 2970 from the file (in php code tags please)

That plugin has a file functions.php added with it.

I am attaching the functions.php file.

^ that file belongs to old version of MyBB. you have to manually edit the ./inc/functions.php file
editing details are given on the plugin page
