this is a feature in forumotion which i really liked a lot - the ability to show the first post of the topic/thread in all of the succeeding pages as a "reminder"...
they also have the option to have a copy of the last post of the page as the first post of the next page - but it doesn't count as post number 11 or 21...
that's it - hope to see that feature here...

Then you will be able to stick the first post in each forum (edit settings) and much much more. Don't know if the 2nd request is possible with it though, try asking on mybbhacks forum.
hi! thanks for the tip - i tried it and there was a problem, the first post appeared on the succeeding pages alright, but the next posts were numbered 2-20 for all the pages... i had to delete the plugin coz there seems to be no support for it anymore...

it's working! there's a small problem but it's negligible - the first post appears on the 2nd page, and is numbered 41, then on the 3rd page it becomes number 56 (55 is the last post number) - it becomes the last post of the page...

Firstly, I don't have that problem on any forum. Secondly, the author has just replied today...
