Full Version: Uninstalling Plugins if there's no uninstall link in Admin-CP?

Hi, I'm quite new to MyBB.

First MyBB appears to be a great script. I've been using SMF for a couple of years, but MyBB looks much better. I would like to thank everyone contributing to the script! Shy

I've got a (perhaps stupid) question:

I've installed the "Favicon in address bar (1.0.1)" plugin, but I would like to uninstall it. There's no uninstall link in admin. How can I uninstall it savely without leaving traces? Is it just a matter of deleting the "fiab.php" file?

Thanks.
on the plugins page in admin panel there should be a deactivation link. after deactivating the plugin check
once again on the plugins page. if uninstall link does not exist then you can safely delete the plugin files.
Thanks, that works. It's gone.
