Perhaps you should put a new page for some "Custom Functions" With their "Custom Hooks"

You understand me? Like providing a list of available hooks, etc and when i click them, my function gets created & i can write down stuff in it or just Leave it blank for editing it later.
That would be really cool.

It's already planned: "Also, it will have a solid database of MyBB hooks, ordered by board's components (homepage, posts, threads, forums, etc.) so you can easily decide where to inject your custom code."
