Hello Dears!
in last year i had a forum that i closed it. my password on my forum was the same password that I used for my email account but I do not know whats the password.
I have a backup from my DB, I need to recovering my password that i used in my forum for accessing to my email.
How can I recover it? please help me!

recovering the password from MyBB database is not easily possible.
you should be able to reset the password for both your email account & MyBB account

Log in to PHPMyAdmin> Click on your Database name> Click on the SQL tab> Run the query below

UPDATE mybb_users SET password = '098f6bcd4621d373cade4e832627b4f6', salt = '' WHERE uid = 'X'; 

Replace X with your UID. If you were the founder then your UID would be 1. Your password will be reset to "test" without the quotes.

I need same password. No any software to recovering it?
