Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be possible to individually edit someone's profile or username by using a theme template or something?

Go to ACP>Users & Groups>Users

Find the member you want to edit, click on their username or options>edit profile and there you would be able to change the username.

I know you can do it like that but I was wondering if I was able to edit it via theme templates

You can't edit any members username through your theme templates. What are you trying to accomplish?
