Installed Google SEO, Enabled URLs. URLs didn't change..
URLs are enabled, but my urls are still tid=X. I'm confused.

Okay, it says edit my .htaccess files. Weird. I use Hawkhost and the htaccess files are hidden. Is there anyway to get around this?
you should be able to set hidden files as visible files on your ftp client / file manager
Sorry for being such a noob. I edited the htaccess. Every thread now comes to a 404 error.
^ again check at the plugins page. what is Google SEO plugin reporting ?
Okay I fixed it. My htaccess file was name "htaccess.txt". I changed it to ".htaccess". Thanks for the help .m.
