Obviously the full package and the changed files can't have the same checksum. Probably a copy paste mistake. Wink
Any chance this can be investigated? I would prefer a copy/paste error in the blog post over an actually tampered with file.

Edit 2: Could somebody please update the official blog post with the correct md5sum of changedfiles_1611.zip?

why when I was on a trip to determine MyBB upgrade previous versions 1.6.10 nothing but the most recent version is 1.6.9 and I finally chose MyBB version 1.6.9, this does not affect the MyBB which I use later on future

thank you

if I had been installing the MyBB version 1.6.11 but when the upgrade goes a step like this there
"if your current version of MyBB"
and at that time I was wearing MyBB 1.6.10 version but there is no version 1.6.10 only the highest option is 1.6.9

My question is
if I choose the version 1.6.9 is there any negative impact on my future forums or okay?

When I upgraded, there was an option for 1.6.10. Try reuploading the change files.
if I had already handed to version 1.6.9 option is there side effects? or not at all?

Download and use the Changed Files Package (MD5: 918be9675d3d50c63bfe4c6cbf17fd0f)

If you're using MyBB 1.6.9 or lower

Download and use the full 1.6.11 Release Package (MD5: 918be9675d3d50c63bfe4c6cbf17fd0f)

Follow the Docs Upgrading Instructions

Thank you for the links. When Reading the docs it says you should use htaccess and not the forum on/off feature. But in Another thread (older) a user says that he doesn't use htaccess for these small updates:

However for small updates I don't really bother with that. I just set the board closed, update, and open the board again.

So, would it be ok to just turn off the forum for this particular update?

Thank you
