We know, it still needs to be added - if you want to do so please make a pull request on GitHub.

It's a template we use

normally the page should be created at the time we release a new version.
One would think 'he-who-wrote-the-blog-post', would also write the release page.
The blog post if drafted before we release the version - github hasn't the option to draft a page. It's simply the way our release procedure is. It was in all pervious versions so and we only can try to reduce the time between the releases.
Regardless of your template or the situation, don't link to documentation that you know doesn't exist. That's just absurd. If you don't have a link ready, just don't include it in the post.

Then have someone write it in Markdown and save it in a text file, then add the page when the release is ready.

We have a Website Team; this should be their job.
