We added a variety of words that offend in different cultures, what may be OK in one may not be so great in another. We try to remain as family friendly as possible as we have people as young as 13 on the board.

There's a sizeable difference between telling someone to post like there's no tomorrow on their board, and outright calling them, or you, a tangerine, though.

Ben, you can call someone a tangerine (not filtered) all you want
. I don't think that offends too many cultures.

Doesn't matter. The term "postwhore" is based on the original meaning of the word. It may still offend in certain cultures.

I would hope no one is proud of being a tangerine in most cultures that I'm aware of. Sure post tangerine isn't really that bad but until we have intelligent word filters I don't know what you expect to be done.

I hate word filters in communities, but curse words don't really have a place here
