I've been running a website at http://shammysplayground.com for about a year and a half now, and recently I decided to expand, I was planning on adding a whole separate forum at http://shammysplayground.com/gmod
But unfortunately during installation, I decided to use the same database as http://shammysplayground.com for the new forum, and therefore my entire forum got reverted to a fresh install.
Is there any way to revert back to how it was before I olive up and practically deleted everything?

I did not have any backup of the database prior to the installation process.

Then yes, its almost certainly gone. Looking through the installer, it appears that it drops any existing tables, so they're gone.

Maybe your host keeps backups?
Yes, hosts should keep backups for emergency cases. It is possible they have a copy of the DB, perhaps ask them?
If you're on shared hosting, they may have backups as said above. The faster you ask, the better chance that they'll have your old database. For future reference, you should take a backup of your database at least every 2 days.
I sent them a message 30 mins after I messed up, no response yet. Thanks though.
everytime i mess up my forums i email my host to restore my backup data. its a complete backup of the entire c panel and not just mybb. works like a charm. my hosts normally backs up 2-3 times a week so all my instances ive lost a couple threads/posts. i actually had to do this a couple minutes ago. good luck dude. i know how gut wrenching you must feel now but if your host dosent have backups then you should definitely dump them and switch to a host that offers backups.
Yeah they don't have backups.
Moral of the story: Backup everything, all the time, everyday, all day, everytime.
Sounds like some crappy hosts then. Who are you using?
That's the reason. Most reputable hosts seems to have backups, even if its a week old, there's still something rather than losing everything. Anyway, there is less to blame them here although they should keep backups.
