Full Version: Force everyone to use Classic layout?

It's not quite as simple as that, there's other templates that need changing too, plus surely that'd just be confusing to users to have an option that doesn't seem to do anything. There's steps in the thread I liked to to just remove the option.
@OP, I can not say if it is a bad idea and that method is suggested and used by some (smart) people !

Well, that's exactly what I thought tonight -- I can simply make a backup of the postbit template, and then copy/paste the content from the postbit_classic template into the postbit template, and then it won't matter what the user chooses. Right? Or is there some kind of reason why this would be a bad idea?

That's not technically the "correct" way to do it, but that's what I did on my forum, and I've had no issues with it.
