Hello all, I tried searching and searching but couldn't find a solution to my problem, Im running MyBB 1.6.11 and since I do not have php mail setup nor my own mail server I decided to use gmail or hotmail smtp.
However I tried tons of different settings and every single one resulted in giving me "Permission Denied" error in the System Mail Log.
I am not using any webhost, I am hosting from my own PC (Linux, centos 6.4) and thus from my own network (will later move to a professional webhost, but in the meantime this will be fine).
Is there anything specific I need to setup, other than the settings for the smtp mail? For example, do I need to portforward? (I already opened ports in firewall, but do I also need to open ports in my router?) If so, which ports and tcp or udp? (Always mixing those up lol..)
