Hello everyone

My forum is set up to administrator activation. I regularly activate new users. However, these users don't get any notification that they are being activated. I would like to encourage users to participate by letting them know immediately when they have been activated.

Essentially, I want the ability to notify users by e-mail whenever their user-group changes. Ideally, I want to be able to specify the actual message being sent to them (in my case, that message will include a link to a FAQ that I want activated users to read).

Is there a way to accomplish this?

you can try using admin activate email plugin

for the other requirement, it would be better to use group based messages plugin (eg. group message)
