Guys I have just installed a plugin and my queries has doubled and now shows 50, my question is which number of queries is considered as maximum for best performance?
It all depends on the server hardware and configuration. As long as your site still feels responsive then the new queries should not matter
Thanks @pavemen buddy, my forum is hosted on Ipage shared hosting for now what do you think about that.
P.S. I am running a plugin that ads Avatar to threadslist and the problem with it is that is also adds x2 queries, any idea how to decrease number of queries that plugin creates????

Doubt it. Most queries are run because they are required, otherwise the author would've left them out.
