I followed this tutorial here.

Now, the post count is messed up, there is only a very little amount of threads and posts within the forum but it still shows up the Spammers posts in the post count. Help?

ACP > Tools/maintenance > recount/rebuild

And run the synchronisation from those you want to get fixed
