The forum I am using at the moment is under construction and I cannot make it available to guests just yet as it contains some private information that will be removed when the site is properly launched.
Is there anything I can check and report back to you? Sorry about this inconvenience.

Try to use a webdev tool (like firebug) and inspect the structure of your DOM. It's probably a simple solution, just reorganize your elements and adjust the css properties. But like Rymax99 suggested, without a URL it's hard to figure out what you're doing wrong there.
Perhaps just provide the source for that part and it's CSS properties.
