I've been developing my site on my computer for a while ...
I'm trying to put it online right now.

I've uploaded all my files ...
I've change the config.php file to be able to connect to the online database ...

But I get this error :

Ok I had double checked like 10 times ... seems I had an error in my password field.

I am getting the same thing. And I changed my config.php file too. Everything is correct. Do I have to do anything to my database files?

No. If you are getting this error, that means MyBB is not able to connect to your database server. You need to confirm the user details are correct and that your server is properly running.
