Hello, I've had some issues with MySQL but now my forum version 1.6.10, installed on a subdomain, is very slow or won't load at all and give me a 503. The rest of my site is fine so there's nothing wrong with my host.

I'm a n00b so I'm not sure if there might be a setting that needs to be changed or optimized for a better performance. If so, what?

Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

If it is slow and throwing 503 errors then it is most likely a host issue. Who is your host?

Yes, but it's only the subdomain where I have MyBB installed. The topdomain and the other subdomain loads fine. So there has to be something not right with the forum that causes this.
I have not gotten a rush of extra traffic and this started during off-peak hours so I'm not sure what it could be.

I currently have MyAdvertisment, MyAlerts and UndoDelete as Active plugins.
MyAlerts has a note that says it could take longer for large boards - it does't say what constitutes a large board, but mine isn't that big.

Anyone that are familiar with plugins and experienced similar issue?
