There are plugins for that?

One of these two plugins should work out perfectly for you (although I have no tested them myself).
1. http://mods.mybb.com/view/hide-links-2
2. http://mods.mybb.com/view/hide-links-to-guests-for-14 (just need to change the version compatibility from 1.4 to 1.6)
