I get problems with tasks not running .... all was good until the time changed from bst to gmt (daylight savings change with version 1611)... I guessed I had set the tasks up incorrectly but if some else has the problem some code may have changed in 1611 ?

Yes, but the date should be within the last day. Did you delete the <img> in the footer template that runs the tasks?

I don't use the default theme, I'm using another theme for my forum.
With your suggestion I go to the footer template then I don't see the "
{$task_image}", so I've added it! The daily cleanup will work? And stats.php will work correctly too?
