Hi guys,

I'm trying to solve (a common) issue with quotes which doesn't work on my forum. When I click "Reply with quote" button I get a blank text-box.

Quotes stopped working when I updated the script from 1.4 to 1.6.10.

I read a lot about the issue, but the common solution (changes in postbit_quote) doesn't work for me.

Here is my postbit_quote:

1. I've updated all Templates (in "Templates & Style"->"Templates"->"Find Updated Templates") - nope, didn't help

2. I've tried to replace newreply.php file by v1.6.9 - this also didn't help

3. Issue also occurs on Default Style.

(I switched the account on English and Default style)

check newreply template - does it consist of code like below
<textarea id="message" name="message" rows="20" cols="70" tabindex="2" >{$message}</textarea>
if {$message} does not exist in above code then may be someone removed it & forgot!

Unfortunately the issue is somewhere else - newreply template contains {message} in the line that you pointed at

EDIT:
I removed code of newreply template due to my next reply (the code of this template + 2 more was posted below)

Run File Verification in ACP -> Tools & Maintenance. Show output on screen here.

I'm sorry guys for this "bump", but the issue still exists and you can imagine how inconvenient it is.
