I use a custom portal with a plugin ' Recent Posts Forum Index '.

I want to change it make it look something like this: http://prntscr.com/2456eq

Can you notice that the picture below has a bit organized view where as mine is almost scattered.
Can anyone help me in this regard?

You can open you plugin file with a text editor like notepad plus, geany or notepad, but you have to know what you're doing, to change values and add some new values to your queryes.
