Is there way to translate that Oct to something else, or make it look like "Joined 11/2012" or "Joined 01.11.2012"

ACP -> Configuration -> Date and Time Formats -> Registered Date Format -> set to m/Y or anything else compliant with date(): http://php.net/manual/pl/function.date.php -> Save
