So if you remove it, users won't be able to get the feed using RSS readers. If that's good or not, depends on your site and its concept. I personally don't mind anyone using it on my forums and I think it's better than simple copying & pasting content, which you can't really avoid. So I wouldn't remove it unless you don't need it at all.
