Ok so I have been wanting to make the hover over effect like this one below but I don't know how to could someone please tell me.So when you hover over a image or a thread it shows up like this below.
I really need it for the theme I'm making.Thank you.

Its called tooltip, just search google on its basic usage

hovering mouse on group image should already show the group title in text.
can you give content of postbit_groupimage template
admin panel >> templates >> your forum's active theme templates >> Post Bit Templates >> postbit_groupimage
