Anyone know of a tagging plugin that works with myalerts? The only thing I am finding is this option, http://community.mybb.com/thread-136062.html which requires an additional plugin. :/

Basically looking for something that will make my members have alerts if anyone puts an @ sign before your exact username.

The one you linked is a bridge between two other plugins.
http://mods.mybb.com/view/tagging-plugin is one username mention plugin, http://mods.mybb.com/view/mention is another option. Both integrate with MyAlerts which is a nice notification system (nicer than sending PMs for each @mention).
I'd recommend the latter one, it seems to be a bit better featured (like coloring the usernames and supporting spaces in names).

That is probably what I will end up using, thank you.

My bridge is intended to drop PMs in flash.tato's plugin and make use of the alert system by Euantor instead. Nothing special and only worth using if you choose flash.tato's implementation over others, really.

is there any plugin now to tag user...?
